I lost everything this year
It’s never too late to be happy. But it’s all up to you and no one else.
People never fail
to hurt and disappoint you.
Allow my hand to lose itself in yours.

That I may not tell my hope
I think and dream and drink of you”
“So often, I only recognize the acting component, the single person, the admiration, the drive to be the best. But in the end, this isn’t about acting at all. It is about theatre - it’s about artistry. The kind of artistry that can change the way an audience member sees himself, or his life, or his community, or his love, or his contribution. This whole thing, all this struggle to get there, never feeling good enough; it’s to teach us to give. To give through our art form. And it’s not selfish. It shouldn’t be. If it is, then we’re not doing it right. We’re not in it for the right reasons. That isn’t to say that we can’t be proud of ourselves, our achievements, our growth. Of course we can, and we will, because we put so much of ourselves into this thing. But we do it to give. We do it to experience and to share the experience of beauty. Beauty of emotion and relationships and the soul. And sharing your soul with all the other souls. God. And it is beautiful. It really is.
So that’s what I’m about. Starting today, TO-day, I am bout the art, and the gift, the incredible gift that it is.”
